Xbox Game Pass will see the return of adorable law-breaker Turnip Boy next year, with Turnip Boy Robs a Bank set to add armed robbery to the little scoundrel’s list of felonies in 2023.
Turnip Boy Robs a Bank is a sequel to Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion — one of a good few Xbox Game Pass quick completions now that its busted achievements have been fixed — and looks to trade tearing up people’s stuff for fast-paced shootouts and grand robberies. Check out the reveal trailer below!
Turnip Boy Robs a Bank hits Xbox Game Pass in 2023
“We’ve been working on this game for quite a while now, and I’ve been absolutely dying to talk about it with y’all!” says Yukon Wainczak, founder of developer Snoozy Kazoo in a post on the studio’s site. “The game is a unique spin on the original, with a ton of top-down shooter and roguelite elements mixed in.” This sounds almost like an evolution of the previous game’s Limitless Line, itself a mini-roguelite found towards the end of Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion, albeit with the sequel having more of a focus on ranged combat, which looks like it can get a little spicy. Fingers crossed all of the achievements work properly at launch this time, but more Turnip Boy can only be a good thing… well, unless you work in law enforcement.
Turnip Boy Robs a Bank is coming to Xbox One some time in 2023, and is just one of many new games also coming to Xbox Game Pass in the next year or so.
