Pokémon Go is a popular adventure game from Niantic that combines gaming and the real world with the help of augmented reality technology. The game uses mapping technology in such a way that players can catch and train Pokémon in real-time and in real-life locations too. Many unknown portals known as Ultra Wormholes have been appearing in Pokémon Go and many players are unaware of what it is and what it does. We are going to break down what are Ultra Wormholes and what is their use in the game.
What are Ultra Wormholes in Pokémon Go
Ultra Wormholes have started appearing in Pokémon Go since the Pokémon Go Fest 2022. They are a portal to another dimension where Ultra Beast Pokémon can be found. This other dimension is known as Ultra Space and some players might have heard the term Ultra Wormholes from Pokémon Sun and Moon.
These creatures are more powerful and appear in the normal Pokémon world through Ultra Wormholes which appear in the Pokémon gyms just before the Ultra Beast Raids and unlike normal raids, players need to use Beast Balls to catch them instead of Premier Balls. Here’s a list of all the Ultra Beasts that were available and the ones that are currently available in the game.
More Ultra Beasts are going to arrive in the future during the Season of Light too.
How often can one spot an Ultra Wormhole in Pokémon Go
Players should try to keep a close eye on the Pokémon Go news site to receive daily updates about when and where more Ultra Wormholes are going to appear. The Ultra Beast that comes out depends on the Ultra Beast raid that the player went into.
It is recommended for them to collect plenty of Raid Passes so that they can collect all of the Ultra Beasts in the game. But all of them are Tier 5 Raids which means the player needs to be very careful while arranging their team as none of them would be an easy opponent to defeat.
