Pokemon GO Aron Spotlight Hour Date & Time
The Aron Spotlight Hour is on September 20 from 6 PM – 7 pm local time.
For this hour, the number of wild Aron spawns will be massively increased. This means it is the perfect opportunity to farm Aron Candy to power up and evolve Aron.
Use this event alongside the best ways to earn more Candy in Pokemon GO and you’ll have a powerful Aggron in no time!
September 20 Spotlight Hour Bonus
The bonus for the September 20 Aron Community Day is double Candy for catching Pokemon.
This will apply to all Pokemon you catch during the period, and not just Aron. Therefore, you can even get double Candy for catching any of the current Pokemon GO Raid bosses!
Of course, this also means that you’ll be able to get double Candy for catching the Ultra beasts Kartana and Celesteela during the Spotlight Hour too!
Can you Catch Shiny Aron in Pokemon GO?
Yes, there is a shiny Aron in Pokemon GO and the September 20 Spotlight Hour is the best time to catch it.
This is because of the sheer amount of Aron that will be spawning in the wild.
The difference with shiny Aron is quite subtle, but it’s a cool one. Shiny Aron has red eyes instead of the normal blue.
Check out our Pokemon GO shiny odds guide to find out the exact chances of catching a shiny Aron!
In other news, catching Aron will help you complete the Pokemon GO Test Your Mettle Catch Challenge! There’s only one more day left to finish it, so you’ll want to do it as soon as possible.
