Call Of Duty Warzone 2’s Release Date Has Been Revealed Alongside A Heap Of New Info

Activision has announced that Call of Duty Warzone 2 will release on November 16th. It will be free to play and it will launch alongside Modern Warfare II: Season One on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC.

The first features have been revealed for the new game, but Activision said that heaps more information is on the way in the lead-up to launch.

The brand new map is called Al Mazrah which is set in Western Asia. There’s a huge number of points of interest including a big oil factory, a quarry, a city, marshlands, caves, an observatory, an airport, smaller villages and a bunch of other really cool locations.

The new Tarkov extraction type mode is called DMZ and this will be launching alongside Warzone 2 in November.

You can now hang from ledges and also dive to the floor (which are both in MWII as well) with underwater combat also now playing a big part. Proximity chat will also be a thing which is definitely set to change the way you chat to team mates in-game.

One of the biggest innovations comes in the way of The Shop which serve as enhanced buy stations which make it easier to quickly get what you need, including buying your team mates back and buying weapons.
